Window type
This type of display is relatively rare for 24 o'clock, but there are also classics, the most representative of which is the mechanical digital display watch. In addition, there is a window-type 24 o'clock mechanical watch of the Athens Perpetual Calendar. This display method is more of a window-type calendar ring structure that I will give you in the next issue. It is characterized by making 24 o'clock into a ring gear, and It is an internal gear that meshes with the 24 hour wheel driven by the hour wheel and drives it to rotate according to the set gear ratio, and its quick adjustment device is completed by the crown.
Flyback
In the last period of the second and second, I have already explained the concept of the flyback pointer to everyone, and the display of this pointer is more widely used in other auxiliary functions, as mentioned in this issue. The 24 o'clock is no exception. Let's take a look at the structure of this function to understand the inner connection of this function and its basic principles. From the most obvious place in the figure we saw a with 24 The number of sectors indicates the dial. When the pointer is aligned at 24, the bottom is the hour wheel we always mentioned. Under its driving, the dial will drive the 24 hour round every hour.
That is to say, the 24 hour wheel rotates one tooth per hour. When it is in the position shown in the figure, the gear connected to the 24 hour wheel will enter the unengaged state, then the upper left corner has the shape of the Archimedes spiral shape. The position spring will immediately drive the 24 o'clock back to the initial position, which means that a complete flyback is completed. Interested friends can slowly understand the flyback principle according to this picture. I will use it later. The introduction continues to show you the intrinsic link of this feature.
